The history of Quattro Mori started many years ago in the small village of Tortolì, on the coast of Sardinia
Roberto's first memories of wine were in his early years of life, when he would watch his grandma working hard in her vineyard to grow and produce wine. Family members would all lend a hand in support, after her husband was sadly involved in an accident which prevented him from having a hand in the family run business. When his Nonna eventually retired, the vineyard was sadly no longer sustainable. The family's passion survived in a different approach, with his father purchasing local grapes and making the wine at home. Roberto was often involved in this process and remembers these years very fondly.
In his early 20's
Roberto's curious and adventurous mind took him abroad and he found himself settling on the shores of Australia. Wine has always had a strong and integral influence in his life, and this was evident in these early years with his work in the hospitality industry. A combination of aspiring to keep his passion for wine alive and wanting to keep a strong connection to his home, Roberto decided to start a small project of importing wines from his home region. Through hard work, the business has been a wonderful success and we continue to bring you a broad range of delicious wines from across the country of Italy.
