For Barolo 2020, the harvest was slightly earlier but proceeded smoothly, taking place between late September and early October. The Nebbiolo grapes reached optimal ripeness, with a good balance of sugars, acidity, and tannins. Overall, the 2020 vintage promises to be highly interesting for Barolo, with wines that are structured, elegant, and have great longevity, capable of fully expressing the unique characteristics of the region.
Climatic trend
The 2020 vintage for Barolo was marked by complex but overall favorable weather conditions that enhanced the wine’s quality. Winterwas mild, with above-average temperatures and scarce precipitation, followed by a spring with well-distributed rains that provided good water reserves. Summer was warm, with a few intense heat episodes but without extreme peaks. The temperature fluctuations between day and night, particularly in August and September, promoted excellentphenolic and aromatic ripening of the grapes, preserving acidity and enabling good concentration. Spring rainfall totaled around 250 mm, supporting the growth cycle and providing a steady water supply for the vineyards. Early in the year, temperatures were mild, with a warmer-than-usual winter. During summer, the weather was warm but without excessive heat, with maximum temperatures around 30-32°C in July and August. The quality of the vintage is excellent, yielding wines of great classicism and structure, with high drinkability and promising aging potential.

Quattro Mori ships orders from our Sydney warehouse, Monday to Friday. Depending on your location, we select the services of Anonymus Wine Distribution, Australia Post and various logistics companies and their affiliates. For delivery in Sydney , please allow three to five working days and five to seven for most Australian cities, rural and regional areas might take longer.
Please note that in extreme heat conditions we reserve the right to hold your order until such time as the weather is favourable to transport it.
Delivery Charges
We offer free delivery in the Sydney metro area for all orders over $150. For all the others, delivery charges apply. This charge (if applicable) will be applied at the time of checkout according to your post code.
Returns
If you have ordered the wrong item, please contact us to arrange a return. Return shipping for ordering the incorrect item will be at the expense of the customer. Quattro Mori will issue a full refund for the goods within 7 days of receiving the intact goods.
If your order has been packed incorrectly by Quattro Mori, please notify Quattro Mori strictly within 48 hours of receipt of the shipment. Quattro Mori will request that you return the incorrect items and we will refund the return shipping costs.
